In between jobs...

So I am in between jobs now, and it is very odd to not be subconsciously thinking about the new feature requests, the existing code base, the next design, etc...  I definitely do love what I do for a living and it is something that I need in my life.  I have 3 weeks off right now, and not having the next project on my mind, I have repaired a leaky tub, cleaned up the garage, played RoboDefense on my Android phone for hours, watched almost every 2 1/2 men, Will & Grace, and some Leverage.  And I'm only on DAY 3.  So, I do like lists, I love checking things off and having that sense of accomplishment.  It is just who I am.  I am truly blessed to have a career that I am passionate about.  I love what I do and actually miss it.  Now, I have a GLIMPSE of what it is like.  I know that I don't have a real feeling of what it is like to be unemployed, but I have been through it in the past.  It is just a great feeling to realize I definitely have found THE career for me, and I was lucky, I found it at the age 9.  Well, I'm probably going to be writing a lot more over the next 3 weeks, but for now, I'm going to take a break.  I wrote more, but it timed out on the publishing of it... not sure what that was about.  So, here is round 2.  Thanks for stopping by.
